In the United States, rates of poverty have varied over time and are higher for some groups
of people than others. Imagine that i am in charge of reducing rates of poverty,i would like Increase taxes for rich people and Reduce taxation for the poor person,also i will Reduce tuition fees for junior high school, high school, and university to help impoverished students learn better. I think wisdom can change poverty.
The difference in poverty rates is also related to the countrys environment, such as China wh ere I was born. University tuition is very cheap, but university admission is very difficult. Thi s causes every student to study madly because they want to change their poverty, and many p eople do change. after all the tuition fees at Chinese universities are low, many people still ca nnot afford school fees.
Compared with the United States, because the United States has a more relaxed environment and university tuition fees are particularly expensive, many people think that children do not need to go to college to live. This phenomenon has caused the next generation to become mor
e impoverished and may not be able to afford tuition fees for families after several decades,ev en life be difficult.
In most regions, poor people usually do not consider the difference in poverty rates as a socia l phenomenon that does not change their lives. For example,when i first year coming American,my hostfamily father is a Priest, he prays in the church every week and he need to help lots of poor people,also he is not rich,but he said lots of poor person can coming his house eat dinner together at Sunday.
However, his friends and his son Often ask him to borrow money,because they did not find job.they dont have a stable source of income,so As a result of helping others, many people are still living in poverty.The mutual help between the poor can only make them poorer unless there is a real rich who is willing to help the poor.
So,i have a idea for this social phenomenon,The government can use more benefits to help you, or someone who doesn’t work. They do not have a better job or even pay for the
children’s studies. Their descendants cannot enter the university and gain real knowledge.This is a big reason for poverty.
From the above examples, we can also see the causes of the gap between the rich and the poor in society, and the biggest obstacle to changing the gap between the rich and the poor.
